Singita Milele | Grumeti Reserve | Tanzania
Set to open in May this year, this 5 star East Africa lodge premium exclusive use house, is part of the Singita Private Villa collection. Set high up on the slopes of the Sasakwa Hill with expansive views in western Tanzania. There are 350,000 acres of pre wilderness and yearly access to the wildebeest migration route. The private modern yet understated house will feature 4 suites for the ultimate safari experience. Ideal for families, friends or multi-generational families that require a private stay for up to 8 persons. The location provides front-row seats to the yearly wildebeest migration.
Kibale Lodge | Kibale National Park | Uganda
A new East Africa lodge opening in May 2024, is Kibale Lodge. If your client is wanting to have a bucket list experience of chimpanzee trekking, then this is the property for them, as it is located in the Kibale Forest. This forest has 1,500 chimps and is one of the best parks to view chimpanzees. The lodge is the perfect addition to add on before or after staying in the Biwindi Impenetrable Forest area for gorilla trekking. Three rooms will be available from May and then another five later in the year. Located over a special 150-acre site dominated by a rocky outcrop.
One Nature Mara River | Northern Serengeti | Tanzania
This ultra-luxury lodge will open mid-2024 in June. Boasting 7 premier villas with African-inspired colonial motifs, including a presidential two-bedroom family villa . There will be unparalleled luxury and exclusivity while enjoying a memorable game-viewing experience. Location is not far from the Kogatende Airstrip and transfer from the airstrip would be a mini-game drive en route. Special activities can be arranged including visiting a local Maasai village, hot air ballooning, bush dinners and more. Children can be accommodated with specific tailored game drives and hands-on activities.
Ycona Luxury Resort | Zanzibar
A new eco-friendly luxury resort also due to open mid 2024 is the 5 star Ycona Luxury Resort. It will consist of 40 private villas and this resort will feature 4 restaurants, a full-service in-house spa, outdoor swimming pool with a swim-up bar, a cafe, beach bar, kiddies playground on site, free use of bicycles and a highlight is that it will be on a private beach. The villas will range from a one-bedroom beachfront to a three-bedroom family villa which will accommodate up to 7 persons. The signature villas boast private plunge pools.
Bawe Island | Off the coast of Zanzibar
A new jewel is born with the opening in June of the luxury Bawe Island – just 15 minutes by speed boat from the capital of Zanzibar – Stone Town. There will also be a helicopter landing platform. It will consist of the opulent villas ranging from 200 sqm to the 3 bedroom Sultan villa which will be a massive 500 sqm, set in an unspoiled 30 hectares of private island. All villas will have private plunge pools and 5 star butler service. Amenities include 4 different restaurants, in-house spa, diving centre and exciting water-sports. Asilia Kokoko Camp | Ruaha National Park | Tanzania
Opening in July 2024, Asilia Kokoko Camp will be a new addition to our already excellent East Africa lodge portfolio. Ruaha is one of the largest national parks in East Africa and with minimal other properties, Kokoko will offer exclusivity and privacy. We recommend Ruaha as there are 550 bird species, 80 animal species and excellent game viewing. This tented camp will have 3 tents and can be booked on an exclusive-use basis only. Each tent will feature a retractable weather cover – made to marvel at the African night sky, from the comfort of your bed.
Great Plains Conservation Mara Toto Tree Camp | Masai Mara | Kenya
Planned to open 1 July 2024, this brand new East Africa lodge will sit comfortably in its surroundings of ebony trees in the iconic Masai Mara National Park in Kenya. There will be en-suite tents on raised wooden platforms and generous living areas and private decks. Annually from July to October the area specifically comes alive with the Great Migration with many zebra, gazelle and wildebeest traversing. During the other months the resident wildlife is still outstanding. For your clients we recommend a minimum three nights stay and more to experience this wonderful camp.
